turkey age and breed

I have a turkey that is all white and i have no idea of the age or breed. does anyone know about a white turkey

There are several breeds of turkey that are white.

If the turkey is huge, walks with the feet wide, and has a pronounced breast, it is a Broad Breasted White.

If it is really little, it might be a Midget White or a Beltsville Small White.

There are also other breeds of turkey that are all white.

Try looking at the pictures on Meyers, mcmurray, or Ideal to compare to your bird.

Don't be too disappointed if you are not sure. YOu may just have to wait and see how it grows out for size.

I think she is a broad breasted white but i don't know how to tell the age

try one of the poultry hatcheries. One of them has a chart to gestimate feed usage and estimated weight. Try Ideal first. go to the BBW page and it will be there. OR it is Meyers.
