I am going to go out on a limb here and suggest something totally crazy, TAKE YOUR BIRD TO A VET !!!!!!!!! It have green stuff oozing out of it! Would you go to a doctor if you had been bitten and had green stuff oozing out of you! DAM! TAKE YOUR BIRD TO A VET !!!!!!!!! TAKE YOUR BIRD TO A VET !!!!!!!!! TAKE YOUR BIRD TO A VET !!!!!!!!!

Best advice posted, for a wound THAT severe and the time frame of it happening and when you found him...the vet would have been the best place to go.
Now fourfeathers post was very good advice for emergency first-aid but he DID take the bird to a vet.
