Turkey Behaving Odd

I have Bought a turkey chick a few months back now he/she is a grown up.i still don't know if she is male or female as i am observing from few day s that he/she while roaming around with my other hens sits in front of my white leghorn .it is strange right? i am just imaging that as if she is a female turkey and wants to mate....She hasn't laid any egg till yet ? what are the main features of female turkey and when does it starts laying ??

When a hen prepares for a mount she sits down with its legs farther apart more then roosting.
When roosting they are closer together.
And she curls her neck and head.
Its like a trance.
You can get right up to her and she will not move unless pushed or close to pushed.
They will do this for a minute or several minutes then comes out of the trance and acts normal again.
She can do this several times a day.
It sounds like she wants a tom to me.
