Turkey Breeders in Arizona

We had a loud lightning and thunderstrom show around midnight last night. Some rain but didn't seem a lot. When I went out to feed this morning I found my pretty Chocolate Palm, Royal with a compound fracture right at the wrist area. His foot was dangling and very large, in a lot of pain and shock. I had to put him down.

He was so pretty and he was strutting his little Tom self and was so cute yesterday.

HI fellow peeps , ( gobblers!!!) LOL I just wanted to add that I have several very striking heritage type turklets of various ages , all very young as they started to hatch in about May of this year. They will be for sale if anyone is interested. Papa is a Rio Grande Wild! I think Fuzzybird still has a couple.

This is big Daddy "Wayne"!!! He has alot of youngn's ready for their new homes!!!

I have 2 Chocolate Royal Palms, I think, for sale. All 5 of my turkey chicks ended up Toms. Both look like this one. They are 4+ months old now. I have had no calls from Craigslist for them so going to take to Pratts soon if not sold. To many Toms!! Asking $20 for them to anyone from BYC

I am thinking about buying some turkey eggs and trying to hatch my own. Mostly heritage but think I will get a couple of double breasted also. Is hatching turkey eggs differant than chicken and is there anything I need to know about it? Desertmarcy, Do you sell eggs?
