what are the older breeds of turkeys that will hatch their own eggs and go broody also what is the best time of year to hatch turkeys?

Spring is the best time to hatch turkeys, but you can go into the summer or even the fall, but probably with a reduced hatching rate.

Any of the heritage breeds and they hatch them usually in spring to summer. Take a look at Porters turkeys if you want to go to 1 site and see about every color.
