Turkey bumblefoot opinion

1.3 year old tom, heritage breed, developed a swollen hard lump around back toe nail. After some research, looks to be bumblefoot. On closer inspection, it is sort of on top of the nail, not around it. Just seeking experienced opinion on turkey case based on photo. About other thing you can think would look like this? It's hard, no real oozing. This was taken while epsom soaking from top and side, so it's underwater. The other foot's back toe looks funky, but it's fine... although it does look like it's got a thin line of irritation right at the nail/leg join. Thoughts?

Thanks so much for asking. I "think" he's doing better. We soaked 20+ minutes three different days with very warm epsom and examined it every way we could. I don't think it's bumble, because with removing a little scab it was in tact skin and would bleed right under the dark scab. I went with antibiotic injection day 1 and 3 with the soaks and clean up of all ground areas where he lives (rocks, sticks, etc).

It looks much better, smaller, but still really a weird wound.

*Update* Turkey tom toe healed completely. After watching a vet show recently and seeing a duck with a large bumble foot spot - I know this definitely WAS bumblefoot, just in a weird spot. Not sure we could have surgically removed the lump, given it was on top of the toe nail, but we are fortunate, I think, that any infection did not reach the bone. He's recovered, though he does seem to be sensitive to limping on that foot if he lands particularly hard off perch (which is literally a foot off the ground).
