Our turkey (bronze, female, long legged, no idea age but not young) has been a bit wobbly the last couple of weeks. The other day she suddenly couldn't stand up, just kept rocking back and forth, overbalancing and falling over. We took her to the vet who confirmed there was no physical injury, they prescribed a painkiller in case there was a growth/swelling in her abdomen which was pressing on a nerve causing her pain when walking.

She is not any better now after three days of painkiller. She is alert, bright-eyed, not eating much but drinking.

Any ideas?

Sorry, probably a parasite or disease. Painkillers are not going to heal her.
