Turkey chick emergency

Hello everyone! Yesterday I have bought turkey chicks, this morning when I went in to check on them 2 of them were dead. All of the chicks were perfectly healthy, they were eating and drinking. I heard that to much heat or to little can kill chicks as well, I did angle the heat lamp so wasn’t to close or to far away. Can someone help me prevent the other chicks from dying?

As I looked at the 2 turkeys one of them had this. There was no other injuries on the chicks and only one of them had this. Can anyone tell me what this is and how to avoid it?
