turkey...cooked himself

I have a turkey about 4 months old. He still uses a heat lamp. Last night he got to close to it. And just stayed there. today he has no feathers were he was burned. and looks cooked. I put nepsporen on it and if I wanted it could have pulled off a piece of "meat" like a cooked turkey. We gave him electrolytes,neosporen, and moved the lamp. He's not moving a lot and is sleeping a lot. Any advice.? Is he sleeping because of the pain or is he dying.? Help.! I don't wanna lose him.

seems like extra fluid and maybe some aloe? i dont know if its safe for birds but silver nitrate is great for burns i am not familiar with the product some people use on here called blue coat but a lot of them use it for different skin problems.
