Turkey egg laying?????

I have Midget White and Bourbon Red turkeys... in different houses as of today...

When do they start laying??

My 1st year with turkeys.

Here in Florida my Midget Whites started in March. Can't say about the Bourbons.

Steve with S&S has both so maybe he'll post.

It will be in the spring. You are pretty far north so maybe even late spring. Our Midgets always lay before the Bourbons. I have seen some mating here and there from ours now but the eggs are few and far between.

Trying to figure out whether or not to segregate at this time or wait till March to do so...
I checked on my midget whites... and they looked cold (shivering)... do not know if because a new home or they are cold.
There is 5 MW in the new coop.
The BR have 10 with a good bedding.

It is about noon here and 33 deg.

I'm in NY it was 29 at 7am and no one is shivering....& the BB Bronze hen has been laying eggs for 2 weeks.

Could just be new home/environment.
