Turkey egg oozing in incubator

My dad found a turkey egg in the hayfield something ate all the eggs but 1 I have been incubating it 3weeks and it now has a large crack with syrup ooze I can see feathers I don't know if chicks dead it doesn't smell at all and it hasn't tried to come out..not sure what to do its been 17 years since I hatched eggs.

Sounds dead, if its cracked enough you can see feathers and no movement of chirping----its dead.

I was hoping it wasn't dead it was moving last week when I candled it .I guess I will have to try again.

OK, if you feel you need some help, let us know the brand/number of the incubator you are using, the temperature, the humidity, have you hatched with success using this incubator?? Info like that will help us to better help you.

OK thanks its a old incubator "StillAir" I got a thermometer in there its at 90° and I put water in it .I don't have way to check humidity

Its been cracked since Friday night is there any chance of survival ? Or should I crack it open.

90 just will not work. Still air needs to be around 101 on the top of the eggs. How much water you put in controls the amount of humidity?

If you have not seen any movement or heard anything from the eggs since Friday---yes you can start opening it---unless you see blood---but you should see movement.

I just wanted to save this chick but seems to be its dead it still has air cell when I candeled it.I'm just scared to open it.

If it has not moved or chirped in 2 days, not much need in opening it. Why would you need another incubator-----incubators have thermostats to turn up or down the temperature.

my dad had this incubator when he was a kid so its really old only has knob to turn heat up or down
