Turkey Eggs due to hatch on the 14th of March...HELP!

I'm incubating a turkey egg that a friend of mine brought me just to see if it was fertile. Well, it is....I've had chickens, and I've had ducks, but never a turkey. How is brooding different? What do I need to know? Any tips for a newbie?

same as chicks. make sure they find the feed and water. keep it warm. you should have something else in the brooder with it.

I have 9 chicks straight out of the incubator in a brooder right now, I have 30 some more due to hatch this weekend, 6 naked neck and 2 duck eggs due to hatch the 9th, and then the turkey on the 14th, so the little guy or girl will definatly not be lonely! lol.

Just make sure the poult isn't overcrowded, they can get pushed aside from the food and "starve out". Also turkeys need a higher protien feed than chicks, we feed our a 28% protien game bird starter.

Other than the high pro diet they are no different. Just as Sands said dont crowd them with older chicks!
