Turkey "eye gouging"

My baby turkey has begun to take good aim and peck at the eyes of my baby chicks. I noticed this last night and will keep an eye on the behavior. I plan on starting my coop this morning. In the meantime, should the turkey be re-located? I can put it in with my goslings for the time being. Although, they don't seem to like visitors in their little area. Any suggestions?

Separation is a good idea. Poults aren't the brightest babies in the world.

Maybe I'll check and see if the goslings will make nice after the initial introduction.

He is still gouging. UGH! It hasn't done any damage and the hens appear to see it coming (another pun). The coop should be done tomorrow.

You could try a red or black light - to discourage the picking.
