Hi all,
The person I got my now 4 month Sweetgrass poults from is looking to get rid of more due to space. I got my 8 at six weeks after she raised her Porter's order a bit. We'd be looking to pick up 5 more females. We currently have 5 jakes and 3 jennies (three of the males will be processed in December).
After health checks and quarantine, what's the best way to integrate new jennies? I'm guessing I can't hope that they'll fondly remember each other as babies.
Is it just like chickens? These 5 will also be transitioning from free ranging to a pen set up until they know their new home turf.
