I have raised a couple of Bourbon Reds. They are around 9 months. One of them, Miss Prissy, decided to be broody. She would take all the chicken eggs along with the golf balls out of the nest boxes and sit on them. She has done this for about 2 months. I would try to discourage her by taking them all away from her each day. Sometimes twice a day. She FINALLY gave up and snapped out of her broody ways. But now she can barely walk. One leg is really giving her trouble. Do you think she damaged a nerve from sitting so long? Just curious on what your thoughts are. Thanks!
