Turkey laying after sitting

I am fairly new to raising turkeys. I have a Royal Palm that is sitting on a few eggs now and was wondering if anyone knew after they hatch will she lay anymore eggs the rest of the season? Some of the eggs she is sitting on are chicken eggs. Thank you in advance for any information.

She might. After she hatches the babies, she won't lay again until they are off on their own. Sometimes, they don't lay for the rest of the season though.

Would we have better luck brooding them ourselves? Would she lay again?

Well it depends on her mind set. If she is trying to brood eggs now, I wouldn't. Even if you take the eggs from her, she would still stop laying and try to sit on some other eggs or egg looking things.
