Turkey Nest Boxes

Can anyone tell me, do turkey hens need their own nest box or will they share?

They'll share but they will constantly steal each other's eggs if they go broody.

My turkeys share the chicken nesting boxes.

Mine just plop an egg out where ever they happen to be standing. Nest box?!?! Who needs 'em! LOL

I have two pens, Midget White and Bourbon Red. Both have nest boxes, and so far only one is laying, and she just lays her egg in the middle of the run, near the fence.

Mine just sorta let plop wherever they are. Usually in the mud next to the water pan.

I'm hoping it's because they're young.

They have a nice house full of straw but prefer to lay them in the frozen mud. If my turkeys could talk they'd sound like Jessica Simpson.

Oh how I have to watch were I walk in the byrd Hilton. Duck egg here, turkey egg there, oh a goose egg there. Then I bend over and oh my does my butt hurt, just got bite or slapped by a goose.
