When do turkeys start laying? I have a Narragansett hen that will be a year old in April and I thought she'd be laying by now. All my poultry lay eggs in the coop and unless I am mistaking the turkey eggs for duck eggs, I see none. I see her and my tom breeding so that's not a problem. Could she be a dud? She is kind've small, smaller than the other hen I had, which I sold. I was expecting to hatch their babies for thanksgiving dinner, looks like I'm gonna have to buy some poults for that.
