Turkey Poult with Dislocated Knee?!

I do see the swelling in the joint in the of the knee let's just call it the knee

. Is the part that can be slid back in place the point wheres its connected at the hip?

It slides back in right at that knee joint, or hock or whatever it is. It feels like it kind of slides in in top and then everything looks aligned but then he moves his legs and it juts off to the side again

Thank you! I hope so too! All the other turkeys that hatched are a light brown striped color, this is the only black one. It’s eating and drinking and hopping around

When its slid back in does the leg meet the ground is it level?

I’ve only tried when I’m holding it in my hand, it’s normally popped back out by the time I put him on the ground. It seems like just the slightest movement and it’s out of joint.

I wonder if theres a way to from like a sling or brace thatd better then the one you have for him how. I'd keep the sling on him. What type of bedding does he have?

Well I just had the hobble on him because I initially thought he had splayed legs. How could I make a sling for him? And I have them on pine shavings

I'm trying to think of a way to do it... I'd say keep the one splint you have on for now I dunno if itll help. Ot may just be the way he was born it may never be able to be fixed but we can try.
