I recently hatched some turkey poults, and for some reason a few of them seem to be very unbalanced and lean towards a certain side. They can't stand up properly and when they do they fall over and lie on their side. Their toes aren't curled. Their legs seem to be fine so I dont think its splayed legs. What could it be. This is happening after they hatch. There isn't a slippery surface so I know thats not a reason. Thanks.

How old? Hours? Or days? Turkey poults can be quite clumsy their first day or two, but generally they sit down. They often need a day to gain strength. If any are really struggling you can put them in a sour cream container with a paper towel at the bottom to give them something to push against as they gain their footing.
