What variety is the little black one with the white face? Darling!

That one looks like a black spanish. Black base birds and chocolates have a mask.

Lol he is a mix. Much grown up now.... I hatched several black ones from eggs that the guy had chocolate and standard bronze both running together.

2 of my newest ones from my flock...the black one here is out of a black hen and narragansett tom not real sure on the bronze looking one in front, same Tom but could be several hens.....?

here are my spring hatch babies.... spudley is out of the broad breasted white hen. Squeaker is the chocolate and bronze mix, so is little bit and stilts. Jack was marked Spanish black and romeo and juliet are supposed to be royal palm.

a couple more of my summer hatches. Bubba is the bigger one in front, there are 2 slates in this batch like the lighter one.

They obviously don’t stay masked when they lose their down - do that? Or is their skin pigment a different color too?

That’s my “little bit”. He’s a little bit of a pain in the backside alright! Kidding. He’s a dolly. Someone told me that calling someone/ thing little bit meant that you were calling them homosexual. As in, he’s a little bit gay. I never heard that. I sure hope that’s not the implication. My little bit is most def not gay. He loves the ladies. And is obsessed with me.

My little bit is the smallest of that batch..... and I hope a hen? Lol I have decided to go with more...... inanimate names? Hoping that the names are unisex.

kind of like this little one is ashes... lol
