Hello! I’ve referenced the popular article on here for treating sour crop with monistat many times, and unfortunately it doesn’t provide an exact measurement.
It mentions using an applicator and a visual measurement of a certain amount of inches.
I bought a big tube of monistat nitrate cream online, but it doesn’t have an applicator, and if it did, applicators can vary in size.

Every dropper/syringe I have for giving medicine to my hens is in “ml” or milliliters.

So, does anyone have first hand experience with how many ml of monistat to give a fully grown regular sized hen (not bantam) with sour crop? And how often ?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!! Please and thankyou!!

""""The easiest (and cheapest) to obtain yeast treatment, though, is miconazole, found on the women's hygiene shelf in the pharmacy. You can use either the suppositories or the vaginal cream. Measure a quarter inch of suppository or about half an inch of cream and give orally twice a day for seven days. Do not stop treatment before the full seven days are completed or the yeast may return.""""

Apply about 1/2inch of cream onto your finger, then draw it up into a syringe. Take note of the markings on your syringe, this will get you close to what you need to give twice a day.
