Ok thank you so much. I really appreciate the help. Hopefully I'll have the turkeys soon. And I started looking at other breeds besides the eastern wild turkey and realised that there are other breeds that look similar. I might get bronze turkeys or narragansetts.

THere are many domestic turkeys. I like the Narr and have the Bourbon Red and BBW. For nice pics there are a few web sites to look at. Porters Turkeys is a great place to lurk.

As for wild turkeys, I'm surprised no one mentioned knowing your state regulations on those; often the wild varieties are not allowed, some states do. I have so many wild turkeys cruiinig thru that I want to know which turkeys are mine and state law prevents ownership anyway, as far as I know.
