The person you replied to hasn't been on BYC since 2016.We are in South Carolina, so warm to hot summers and typically, mild winters, I wonder if we put hardware cloth on the outside, with it partially buried as a predator barrier, and a framed hardware cloth door, if this would work instead of a traditional coop. In the winter, we could have wood panels to cover the hardware cloth as a wind barrier.
