turkey run wire floor??

ok coop is approx 90% done ill be starting on the run next day or 2, am i correct saying i definatly need a heavy wire floor or only wire on the sides and top?? they will sleep in the coop and run around the pen area during the day thanks any help greatly appreciated

Any way, Mine don't have wire on the bottom, just dug the sides about a foot and 1/2, haven't had any intruders.
