Turkey sexing

How do you determine the sex of a turkey, fresh out of the bator? ours is currently pipped, and should hatch completely tomorrow. Just wondering. This will be our first turkey!! WOO!!

Hmm. Most people will tell you that you can't sex a turkey younger than 12 weeks.

However, one of the ladies on here suggested that you could determine gender based on head shape, and this certainly worked for me. Hens will have a more triangular head shape whereas males will be more square - this is when looking down on the head. I wouldn't have been able to work it out without both sexes present though...
