Turkey Starter Feed

Has anyone fed Calf Manna to turkeys to increase protein ? Was talking to a local that raises meat turkeys and mixed own feed . But too early for them to have any mixed and I definitely don't need a ton of starter. He said the base of his ration was ground soy for best quality protein. In the past, the CM label included a lot more species than current. I called co and said they could not give out any info that was not in the label for liability purposes.

I know that people use this for their chickens.
I also know that it used to be labeled for more animals, including poultry in the passed but is not anymore.

Looks like Murdoch's https://www.murdochs.com/stores/ is a popular store in your state.
From what their website shows it would cost about 8 dollars to ship one 50lb bag of feed.
I wonder if that is doable?

Glanced at M. Feed section and all I saw was " in store only " availability so apparently they don't ship out 50# bags. Think the closest one is still 6-8 hours away. So waiting on feed tag to see if it is decent label from major co on East Coast that can ship me a mixed pallet of feed within a few days .Totally ridiculous that none is available any closer.

Amazon.com usually ships free with a Prime membership.
You may want to look into getting one of those.

Got Prime and it's fantastic as most pet feed shipping free. But looked for what I needed and came to near $100 bag with shipping and no guarantees on delivery date ,at least 2 weeks away.....Ridiculous.....Have ordered odd bags of animal feed when needed and most often stale and arrive severely damaged with weeks before it actually arrives from other storefronts on the site.

I will start making some more phone calls on Monday,then find out more details of ordering pallet of feed from East Coast. Reason is I need other animal feeds also and if shipping actually is what they claim.And the feed tags look good,will give it a try. Possibly thinking about feed dealership if the feed performs. Sorry lost my internet connection and this never got posted
