Turkey Starter Feed

I will start making some more phone calls on Monday, then find out more details of ordering pallet of feed from East Coast. Reason is I need other animal feeds also and if shipping actually is what they claim. And the feed tags look good, will give it a try. Possibly thinking about feed dealership if the feed performs. Sorry lost my internet connection and this never got posted
When my long time feed store closed I seriously considered becoming a feed store. My main reason to not do so was because I did not want to have to deal with getting a state tax permit to collect taxes. The thing that kept me from having to do so was that the local Sutherlands sell feeds and was willing to special order the feed I want as long as it can be included in their regular order.

Yes,and they refuse to order the next product for turkey and gamebirds.
That is the one I used to raise my turkeys with and when they got old enough I switched them to 20% laying pellets and 16% Gamecock Conditioner by Mid-South. Actually, all my adult birds get this feeding. So they won't order the Gamecock (gamebird not sure if your region carries the Gamecock brand) feed which is really just an additive to their diet. Do you have access to Pheasant starter/ grower feed? It is 28% and loaded with vitamins and nutrients, that is what I am feeding my baby pheasants and guineas because they just like the turkeys need more protein.

No game bird starter available in any brand here. How do your baby turkeys do on 22% meat bird? These are heritage small breed turkeys so really don't care if they grow slower. I just want them healthy and ready to handle winter.
