Nope. He would be headed to freezer camp here. Breeding a mmean bird just makes more mean birds.

Mean birds don't check the status of their spurs before attacking. It might make it hurt less, but isn't gonna change his manners. The only way to deal with an aggressive animal is to become either dominant or submissive (in his view). As long as there is a question in his mind, he feels compelled to resolve it. And some have a very short memory. I had a silkie roo that attacked me every day of his life, but only once a day. Every day he got to "talk to the steel-toed boot" and learned he was not the top bird, but somehow he slept it off every day and I had to repeat the lesson.

Sorry to sound pessimistic, but you might not be able to change his attitude.

Collected turkey egg #2 of the season this morning along with 2 Rainbow layers. Also got the 1st call duck egg for the year this morning, but it's not fertile because I lost my poor little drake to the cold a couple weeks ago. Bator is almost full:
2 turkey
4 polish/ee
12 ancona
38 rainbow layers
I may stuff a few more in from today to finish filling.

she is the big white one. the smaller hen is picking a fight with her in this pic..bad idea. lol
