Hey everyone,

I have a turkey that can’t stand. When I first noticed something was wrong she was limping then the limping got worse so I brought her inside and since she’s been in here she hasn’t stood one time. She’s been inside for around a week. She eats and drinks just fine but I don’t know what to do to help her. Does anyone have any suggestions? She’s young, less than 10 weeks old. She also a heritage breed, I’m just not sure which one. I got her from tractor supply and it was just labeled that way. Thanks for any help!

I’m not sure if this is what you’re looking for but this is what I got. I know she’s gross she basically laying in her own feces no matter how often I change her bedding. Maybe I’ll try to give her a bath tomorrow.

Thank you for the pics. I was just wondering if she had something like a sore or bumblefoot on her feet. It is kind of hard to tell with the pics, but maybe after her bath you can inspect them a little better. Is she unsteady on both her feet or just one? Maybe she has a vitamin deficiency?? I don't know a lot about turkeys so I'll see what others chime in. Good luck!

She may have footpad dermatitis or bumblefoot. Can you get some better pics of the foot pads in good light? The ones posted are dark. You might want to start soaking her feet in warm water with Epsom salts, Betadine, or Dawn.
