1) What type of bird , age and weight.: 3 month old turkey, Male
2) What is the behavior, exactly.: Normal
3) Is there any bleeding, injury, broken bones or other sign of trauma.: No
4) What happened, if anything that you know of, that may have caused the situation.: It's possible he's been hitting his head on the feeder? He spills water often hard to keep bedding dry.
5) What has the bird been eating and drinking, if at all.: Eats and drinks well. Medicated Turkey crumbles and chick grit mixed in sparingly. Some electrolytes/Vitamins in the water.
6) How does the poop look? Normal? Bloody? Runny? etc.: A little loose.
7) What has been the treatment you have administered so far? Nothing
8 ) What is your intent as far as treatment? For example, do you want to treat completely yourself, or do you need help in stabilizing the bird til you can get to a vet? Self
9) If you have a picture of the wound or condition, please post it. It may help.: See Pics
10) Describe the housing/bedding in use: Large cardboard box with fine pine shavings.

My Turkey has a growth above the eye and it kind of looks like a volcano shape no injury or opening in it. I have no idea what it is and if I should do anything for him the second turkey has some slight growth similar to this as well and I am getting concerned. Had planned on dinner soon and am also wondering if this makes him inedible as well.
Please note I do know what the snood is, the area of concern is the bump to the right of the snood above the eye.
