Turkey with dark diarrhea

Hi all. I have 2 and 3 week old turkey chicks with dark brown liquidy diarrhea. What could this be?

Brown is usually from the color of the feed, and more watery poop can be because they are drinking more water. Is it warm where you are at? Higher protein feed can give looser poops too. What type of feed are you feeding?

Hi. Thanks for responding. Its been very hot here and they have been drinking alot of water. I changed feed today as i was feeding 20% protien and was told they nees higher. The one i switched to is 28%. The first feed was very dark in color as well. New feed is lighter.

I don't generally worry about my turkeys droppings as they change in consistency depending on diet and water intake. I go by their behaviors as far as if they are well or not.
