Would it be alright to raise chicks and turkeys together in the same coop/run?

Some folks say no because of the risk of blackhead disease spreading from your turkeys to your chickens. Personally, last year I raised turkeys with chickens with no problems, but my turkeys only made it to butchering age. Your mileage may vary...
