We are about to get some guinea keets and a turkey poult from BYCer Cara.

Can anyone tell me it they will live okay with us. We have no trees right now. We live in the Texas Panhandle, and our 6 acres is baren.

Suggestions on what to do for them to make them live happily until the new trees we plan to plant grow big.

    Thanks!

They need trees, but I'm sure you could probably make a roost tomewhere right?
I would get more than 1 turkey poult. JMO. [IMG]

    Thanks, Ticks.

I definitely want more than 1 poult, but that's what Cara had available. But the delivery is delayed right now, so maybe she'll have more when we get them in a few weeks.

Yeah, I could build a roost someplace. I wish we had trees, but nada trees right now. We will be planting tons of trees in the spring, though...then they have to grow lol.
