Turkeys As Pets

XD hey! I have a pet turkey named Fred. What are your turkeys named....do u hqve any. Tips or tricks etc? Spread the word about turkeys as pets!!!!

I have a blue slate hen named Blueberry. Ever since she was a poult she fell in love with me. She loves to be held and forces you to pet her. She will also beat up any rooster that acts mean around me.

That sounds adorable!!!! My royal palm Tom in my profile pic follows me, gobbles on command, and sits on my lap. He does the same thing. Defends me from our mean rooster Swagger lol

My Royal Palm doesn't come inside, he/she (I can't tell yet) lives inside.

Mine all live outdoors but during daylight hours I might as well live with them...

I have 2 narragansett toms Camo and Colt,, 2 black spanish tom is Tiki and hen is Spirit and I have a tri color palm hen named Storm

I have 2 broze breasted turkeys and i walk them on a dogs leash.

I dont do that, i like them to go where they choose. That sounds alittle cruel to me their poor necks....

Our Turkeys are the male is Papa John and the female is Jake.


They dont come in our house but I live with them in the daylight


And I share my pop tart with them and my chickens
