Turkeys badly injured- don't know whether to put them out of misery

Foxes can chew through chicken wire. I'd put the turkeys out of their misery. They are suffering.

The 2 turkeys didn't make it. And worse, we both have to get rabies shots now. Moral of the story is, be very very very careful if you are treating a fox (or raccoon, skunk, or other wild animal) bite on a bird.
