Turkeys & cocci need advise

My pet turkey poult is showing what I think are signs of cocci. can I treat with amprol the way I would chickens? or would that hurt him? My others never got it so I never had to think about it before. From my research it seems they can get it but I just want to double check as I dont have any info on my amprol bottle specific to turkeys.

how old is it? after 6 months they are pretty much imune to it.

yes they build up an imunity to it over time.

he is just about 2 months old. I think since he was living inside and then went outside for the first time this last 2 weeks that maybe he had not built up a resistence yet.

I was finally able to figure out that the dosage is the same as for chickens so I started treatment of Amprol in water last night. I can already see that he is doing much better.

I ordered diapers for him that should arrive tomorrow

I have to get some pics as he is the cutest little thing and very smart, he already comes when you call his name and knows the word "no" and "food" .
