Turkeys dying - livers spotted after butchering

We have been losing our bergs turkeys (3-4 months old) one at a time here and there (3 of them died overnight over the last 2 weeks). Decided to butcher them before they all died. We noticed most of our turkeys (5 out of 7) had issues (weak or broken feed bags). But also noticed 4 had either green livers with fatty (?) spots or they were red with fatty(?) spots. Trying to upload pics but having a hard time.

Any ideas what disease/illness causes this?

So after much research (http://fluffybottomsfarm.blogspot.ca/2012/07/blackhead-in-turkey.html ), have determined it's blackhead....

None of our turkeys were showing symptoms (no yellow poop, etc)

Is the meat safe to eat??? We have 7 turkeys in our freezer that we processed. Only the 1 we know wasn't affected.
