Kuntry girl-- I see you were reading my mind and started the 2014 thread-- do you think closing this one would be a good idea? THe mods will do it if you ask.
 
Sometimes I brine, sometimes, I just stick in a large onion, a bunch of garlic and a few carrots inside and shove it into the oven, like that. Good both ways.
What happens to all the helpful info in the thread, if it gets "closed" ?

Editing would not be a problem, but I would hate for all the GREAT information in this thread to be gone forever. We have come so far on this thread, I think anyone starting turkeys could answer almost any question and get a great start in raising turkeys by using this thread as their first textbook and then turkeys 2014 could be their next volume, IMHO ! Just saying!
