i have some turkey, guinea fowl, astralorp, and D'Anver eggs in my bator at the 3-day lock-down. i'm a little concerned about the D'Anver eggs. They're so small, especially next to those gigantic turkey eggs. i've never hatched any of these breeds before, i've mainly done Silkies and D'Uccles. i know when chicks come out they tend to flop around a lot. Is it dangerous for the teeny D'Anvers to be in there with the larger breeds? i would be putting them into a separate brooder after they dry off. i would just hate for them to get squished. Does anyone have experience with this? i'm open to suggestions.
