turkeys in the chicken coop

I just moved my young pullets out of the brooder house and want to move some 10 day old turkeys in today. Should I disinfect with bleach or rocal D? I cleaned all the bedding out and it is sand under. Or are they fine to just go in with out disinfecting?

It wouldn't hurt to disinfect. Better to be safe than sorry.

I agree. It probably isn't necessary but wouldn't hurt as long as you let the brooder air out for a day or two.

I did a bleach water scrub down as a precaution but now the run together in the evenings with no problems yet
