I had this happen to one hen. What are you feeding? Fatty feeds will cause internal fat which can lead to a prolapse. Limit things like black oil sunflower seeds and corn.

We have 6 chickens, a rooster, and two hen turkeys. Then just two dogs that don’t go near them. Mice are a possibility because I found a dead one in the chicken run. This turkey would’ve been 2nd to the Rooster. She was pretty high up in the flock order. She was the boss of the flock until we got a rooster. He doesn’t even mess with her. But two chickens were pecking at her like crazy when I got home. I have no idea what happened since I wasn’t home. I didn’t think much of the white diarrhea this morning but now I feel awful about not looking into it in time... Now I’m trying to remember if I noticed anything else the last few days but I honestly don’t know. It’s been freezing so that’s a possibility. Yesterday was about -30 with windchill. Today was -10 with windchill. My mind is pretty scattered right now![]()
