My two Burbon Red turkeys started laying eggs, however i do not believe they are fertile. What should i do now, keep collecting them and wait? How many eggs will they each lay? They each have a male with them but i haven't seen any mating yet this year.

Yes, one was cracked but im not sure what it is exactly im looking for. My dad said something about the yolk having something white on it? The yolk i looked at had nothing white anywhere in it, just yellow.

ive never hatched or raised turkeys but i've raised chickens and in their eggs if there fertile they will have a small white circle in the middle of the yellow and if its not fertile there will be a dot
this egg is fertile see the circle in the yolk

If they each have a tom with them, i'm pretty sure they are fertile. You can eat them, hatch em or sell em. If you collect them everyday then she will keep laying until it get real hot in late summer. I actually put everything in the bator that I picked up from the very first eggs this year. I have put in about 90 turkey eggs so far and I have only had 2 that were not fertile.
