First let me say this is by far one of the most useful websites around... a lot of great info.
Here is my question...
My turkeys (Bronze) are almost completely bald from their bellies to their beard also they are losing feathers in spots around their wings and legs along with most of their primary tail feathers.
Are they molting?
They do not seem to be bothered by this.
They don't appear to have any type of bugs or pests.
They started losing their feathers when we had a short spell of warm weather in Dec.
I'll try to post some pics later.
How long to turkeys usually molt?
They did start pestering the hens when we had the warm weather also.
Any Help!
