I have 4 turkeys now, I got rid of most of them and kept a Tom and 3 Hens.
It has rained hard the last couple of days all day and maybe they just went looking for better cover. Yesterday they completely vanished into thin air. I saw them in the morning but they are gone without a trace. They roost 14-20' high at night and generally stay within a few hundred yards of the house. There is no way a dog or coyote could have killed more than 1-2 because they fly so well.
They just started breeding/laying a few days ago. Any ideas on where they got to?
