Turner question??NOW WITH PICS!!!!!!!!!!!

I am on day 14 and need to know if on day 18 you take the eggs out of the turner right? Do you just lay them in the bator then? This is the first time using a turner and just curious about what to do....................

Thanks, I thought that is what I was to do, but just needed to ask just in case I was thinking wrong.

i think that your suppoused to take out all the vent plugs too on day 18

I have a question about leaving the turner in during the hatch. Wouldn't it be easier to unplug the turner and leave the eggs in the upright position? What would happen?

I would not reccomend it unless you want an icky gooey turner to clean!

When the chicks finally hatch out they bumble around all over the incubator. Keeping the turner in could be asking for trouble.

Eggs are now on the wire rack and trying to raise the humidity, but not having great success with it. I have a dish with a paper towel folded but not tightly in it and the chambers filled. Still the humidity is only 53%. Any other suggestions on how to get the humidity up. My last hatch didn't work so well as they had tough membranes which I just read is from the low humidity. I really need help quickly!!!!

get some clean sponges and put them in there damp. I did this, and it works wonders.
