Turning eggs in an incubator

I am sure I am overthinking this but if my incubator has an automatic egg turner do I still have to turn the eggs? Meaning end to end? First time doing this and I would like to do it right, obviously.

If your incubator has an automatic turner you don’t have to worry about rotating the eggs. I also recently hatched my first batch in our automatic turning incubator a couple months ago and they all turned out fine!

Always have your eggs pointed end down unless they are lying flat on sides. What type of turner do you have eggs sitting upright or lying flat? If upright which I believe you must have always keep your eggs pointed end down and let the turner do the rest.
