Tweetie has grown up to be quite the.... young chicken. (Boy or girl, we don't know yet.) I'm thinking that sling we made her when she was young really helped, because she's still alive and very healthy now! The first picture was when we got her, at 2 months old. She is now 7 months old. Any opinions on boy or girl? She is almost 8 months old, and has not crowed once.

"She" is quite the pretty girl, huh?

Tweetie sure is a looker. I have on rare occasions read about roosters that did not crow. I think my roosters started crowing when they looked younger than Tweetie. I guess there is no point in worrying about crowing unless you hear one come out of that beak.

I have a little banty rosecomb boy and he only crows maybe five times a day. That's pretty good for a rooster.
