I have a chick that is constantly moving her butt up and down like she wants to have a bowel movement but nothing comes out. I've seen her go once but she still continues moving her butt up and down.
I've checked for pasty butt and that doesn't seem to be the problem.
I've given her some diluted molasses because I heard it was like a laxative but haven't seen any excess droppings.
I've had 7 of 12 chicks die in 2 weeks but this is the first with these symptoms and really don't want to lose another one.
She seems happy and alert and is still eating but keeps doing this
