Patch of heaven, I eally didn't care for what I saw on True Blood, and it didn't match what I'd read. If you never read the books, it may be a good show. But after reading all of them that were available, I didn't like it.

And I did like the Twilight movie! It was mmuch truer to the books!

Thanks wegotchickens!! My dh just watched a highlight of the 1st season of Trueblood and he really thinks he will like it.

After all the grief he has given me over Twilight! I noticed a lot of similarites to Twilight just seems to be R instead of PG-13. But I am ordering the books and hopefully I will like them. I like the fact there is quite a few books already in the series! That is the only problem I have with Twilight!! It just ended too soon!!

Yes, there are a lot of Charlaine Harris books in her vampire series, and I'm on the library waiting list for the most recent! Much better to come in on a well-established series than to have to wait for each one!

Yes, I think True Blood is geared more toward men than the books are. Makes sense that your DH would like it.

I am looking on Ebay to see if I can't find some of the books because our waiting list is months long!!

So hopefully I will find some of them. There is another series about vampires but I can't think of the name. Something like Alice Blake?? Anyone know what series I am talking about? If so how were they?
